Xiaomi’s momentum in the electric vehicle (EV) market shows no signs of slowing down. In August 2025, the company reported that it delivered over 30,000 units, marking the second month in a row that this milestone was achieved. This impressive figure includes sales from the Xiaomi SU7, SU7 Ultra, and YU7 models, which made their debut at the end of June. Following a strong performance in July, where deliveries also surpassed 30,000 units, Xiaomi’s sales volume has steadily increased since the launch of these vehicles in April 2024.
In addition to boosting sales, Xiaomi is expanding its retail and service operations. The company opened 18 new stores in August, bringing its total to 370 locations across 105 cities in China. By the end of the month, Xiaomi operated 189 service outlets in 112 cities, with plans to launch an additional 32 stores in September across 14 cities, including Tangshan and Taizhou.
Production Capacity and Future Goals
Xiaomi has been proactive in enhancing its production capabilities as well. The first phase of its plant in Beijing Yizhuang is already operational, while preparations are underway for mass production at the second phase. The third phase has been secured as of June this year. Xiaomi’s founder and CEO, Lei Jun, has set an ambitious sales target of 350,000 units for 2025, with internal projections estimating that the company could reach between 400,000 and 500,000 units next year, and possibly over 800,000 units by 2026.
Incentives and Vehicle Features
The company confirmed that the purchase incentives for September remain consistent with those offered in August. Buyers of the YU7 will receive premium features such as Nappa leather seats, a powered front trunk, a HEPA filtration system, and lifetime access to Xiaomi’s HAD end-to-end assisted driving system, with additional carbon fiber accents available on the Max version. Meanwhile, SU7 buyers will enjoy Nappa leather seating and lifetime rights to the assisted driving feature, while SU7 Ultra customers benefit from carbon fiber trim, five years of basic maintenance, and lifetime access to the HAD system.
